Is every message onchain?

Every canonical message body is recorded onchain as part of its transaction. Search indexes and previews are offchain, rebuildable views.

Is Detalk private?

No. Restricted posting controls who may write; it does not encrypt what is written.

Does posting cost ETH?

There is no ordinary message fee, but direct transactions consume network Gas. A valid sponsorship policy may pay Gas without changing the signed author.

Is membership charged for every message?

No. Paid membership is a one-time channel join payment in the current MVP.

Can another frontend rebuild Detalk?

Yes, if it follows the published registry discovery, ABI, identifier, ordering, reference, and state reconstruction rules.

Is Base Sepolia live?

Not yet. Official contract addresses will be published here after deployment and verification. Never infer an address from a screenshot or an old manifest.
